During my personal exploration of Tantra Massages I've encountered a great spectrum of approaches - some highly spiritual, some more physical, and others somewhere in between. I would say my work is somewhere in between, and I think my experiences would be better called Tantric Inspired Bodywork. But labels helps us navigate, and I'm surrendering to that for now. If you had a Tantra Massage before, this one might be different, so keep an open mind and an open heart.
I love the possibility of including parts of the body that are not usually touched in typical massages, as well as awakening pleasure of the whole body, rather than pelvic focused. This experiences can also support you in developing your ability to receive, without expectations or the need to give back, and deepening the understanding of your body’s responses.
No, tantra massage is a holistic practice that works with mindful touch to promote relaxation, body awareness, and connection to oneself. While it can include intimate areas and works with sexual energy, it is performed with therapeutic intent and professional boundaries. There are no sexual services involved.
No, tantra massage is not sexual therapy and I'll always suggest you have follow up sessions with your therapist if there is a need for it. Our session can be therapeutic but it's not a replacement for actual therapy.
Yoni and lingam massages are specialized forms of therapeutic intimate massage, applied to the genitals, that can support healing and releasing tension in these areas, enhancing body awareness and sensitivity, as well as addressing shame or blockages related to sexuality.
The word yoni means "sacred space" in Sanskrit, and refers to the vulva and vagina. A yoni massage is a mindful, slow, and intentional massage.
Some of the main benefits of a yoni massage:
Can alleviate pain caused by conditions like tight pelvic floor muscles, postural imbalances, or stress-related tension
Improves circulation, which aids in tissue repair and reducing inflammation, especially for women after childbirth
Cultivates self-love and confidence and a deeper connection to one's body in a non-judgmental, sacred way
The word lingam translates from the Sanskrit to "wand of light" and refers to the penis. A lingam massage is an intuitive, slow, and conscious touch practice that explores pleasure without focusing on ejaculation.
Some of the main benefits of a lingam massage:
Encourages better blood flow to the penis, prostate, and pelvic floor muscles, which supports overall erectile health
Shifts focus from goal-oriented sex (ejaculation) to relaxation and deeper presence in the body
Stimulates nerve endings and increases penile sensitivity in a way that improves pleasure over time
Please bear in mind that while a massage can have therapeutic benefits, these should not be regarded as a cure and are not a replacement for therapy or professional evaluation of sexual disfunctions. Also, if you have deep tensions, it might take some time, trust and patience to move through them, as well as a combination of practices, not exclusively massages.
Each session begins with a welcoming conversation, where I'll explain how the massage typically goes and ask you about your boundaries, specific needs and intentions for the session. There will also be space for you to ask any clarifying questions, before we get started. We'll have a moment to connect with each other, and for you to connect with the space, before we start. Then, at the end of each session, there is a gentle integration period to help you process the experience, and there will be a moment for you to share how you feel and what came up for you (optional of course) before we close the session.
Ideally wear something comfortable to your session. You're welcome to fully undress, even if your massage does not include yoni/lingam massage, your whole body is celebrated here. And if it does include it, you can also choose to keep your some clothing on until we get there. Additionally, you'll be asked if there are any parts of your body that I should avoid, regardless of the massage type. Your comfort and boundaries will always be honoured.
As your therapist, I will be dressed appropriately throughout the session, typically wearing comfortable clothing that allows me to move freely while performing the massage. Also note that I will be wearing gloves before initiating any genital contact. This ensures a therapeutic, safer environment, as well as maintaining professional boundaries.
The duration of these sessions is intentional and essential for the practice, and it is not possible to have such experience in 30m or 60m. Tantra Massage is about creating a deep connection with your body and being fully present in the experience. Moving slowly and mindfully allows for:
A gradual unwinding of physical and mental tension
Time to build trust and feel safe in the space
Deep relaxation of the nervous system
Connection to subtle sensations in every part of your body
Integration of the experience as it unfolds
Rushing through bodywork can limit its benefits. The longer duration ensures you receive the full therapeutic value of the practice.
While Tantra Massage can benefit many people, it may not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions or during pregnancy. If you have any doubts please talk to your doctor and inform me of any health concerns prior to booking a session. We can discuss more in depth your specific concerns.
Due to my availability and of the space I rent, I won't be able to accommodate last minute bookings. I suggest you book at least 3-4 days in advance so I can plan accordingly.
