What is tantra massage?
It's bodywork that's really about touch and presence. You slow down, reconnect with your body, release tension, and just feel more alive. Or at least that's my vision and approach :)
Is tantra massage sexual?
No, Tantra is (in very very short terms) a philosophy about energy and presence. In a massage session, it's never about sex, it's about touch, breath, and connection, all with clear boundaries and respect.
Do I have to be naked?
You don't have to, but you can be! You stay as clothed as you're comfortable. We talk about what works for you before we start, and you're always in control. Also, regardless, I will always ask you what parts of your body you do not want to be touched for the session.
What happens during a session?
We start by chatting, I'll ask what you're looking for and what feels okay to you. Then depending on what you booked, there might be some breathing, a short meditation or gentle touch before we start the session. At the end we can sit down and integrate the experience if there's anything you want to share (totally optional).
Can tantra massage help with stress and anxiety?
A lot of people find it really soothing. The slow, intentional touch quiets your nervous system and may help you feel grounded. It's not therapy, but it's a good practice for people who need to relax.
Is it okay if I've never done this before?
Yeah, honestly most people haven't, you don't need any experience at all.
Will I have to do anything?
Nope, just lay back, relax and enjoy the ride :) There's nothing to get right.
How are boundaries handled?
We talk about them before the session and I check in with you the whole time, and you can pause or stop anytime. Your safety and comfort are my top priority at any time.
Who is this for?
People come for lots of reasons, like to relax, or feel more in their body, to discover something about themselves, reconnect with their own pleasure and aliveness and so on.
What's the difference between tantra massage and a regular massage?
A regular massage is mostly about your muscles, a tantra massage is more about the whole picture, looking at your body, mind and emotions as a whole. It's slower, more intentional, and you're invited to really notice what you're feeling and experience touch in a different way.
Is it normal to feel nervous?
Totally!!! For a lot of people this is new and weird. We'll talk before it starts, I'll answer your questions, and I'll make sure you feel okay every step of the way (as much as I can!)
What makes Touch Temple different?
Every session is guided with real presence and care, and I'm not following a script, I'm adapting to you, your boundaries, and what you actually need. The whole point is creating a space where you feel safer to slow down and just be.
How should I prepare?
Come as you are. Wear comfortable clothes and avoid heavy food or a lot of alcohol and caffeine beforehand. You don't need to do anything special, just bring an open mind.
What should I expect afterwards?
Everyone feels different things, a lot of people feel really relaxed, grounded, lighter, more connected to themselves. Some people notice they're more aware of their body or they feel clearer. Others just feel peaceful. After, give yourself time to rest, drink water, and let it all sink in.
